Books & Book Launches
Many of the speakers are published SOA authors. In fact, among the speakers there are 40 SOA books
that have been published or are in development. This page will soon contain a list of all these current and upcoming books. Furthermore, a variety of contests will be held throughout the conference, during which over 300 books and 400 color posters will be given away to attendees. Many of these books will be newly released titles and the authors will be available for book signings.
The SOA Symposium is proud to be the official event to launch the release of the following new books:

Service Oriented Architecture: The Next Phase

Book Launch & Ceremony: Oct. 7, 2008 at 16:30 (Hosted by Thomas Erl).
Description: Many organizations are past the stage of planning for SOA and are
now taking their first steps toward actually realizing a service-oriented
enterprise. Once you move ahead with an SOA initiative, the pressure to deliver
on expectations can be huge. With limited time and no more opportunity to
experiment, expert SOA knowledge becomes a critical success factor.
As pioneers in the SOA industry, Ordina has collected a series of best practices
and techniques for overcoming common challenges in support of realizing
strategic business goals through SOA and service-orientation. For the first
time, this expertise has been compiled in this new guide for practitioners.
