As an independent middleware consultancy firm, GloMidCo creates and supports innovative EAI solutions in close cooperation with its clients. GloMidCo's core-business is providing Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) expertise, which encompasses areas like EAI, SOA, EDA, BPM and BAM.

Partners
GloMidCo is vendor independent and able to work with any middleware solutions provided. To gain the knowledge to meet its goals, GloMidCo partners with the most important leaders and visionaries in the application integration field like TIBCO, Progress Software, Software AG, Oracle, Fiorano and IBM. Through these partnerships, GloMidCo has access to all software resources, documentation and training. This allows GloMidCo to compare and combine products and to keep the knowledge up-to-date.
Background
GloMidCo was established in September 2000 and is based in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The company sprang from a TIBCO Real Time Market Data environment at a large Dutch financial institution. In 2007 GloMidCo opened the second office in Eindhoven and mid 2008 a Malaysian branch is established.
GloMidCo employs around 20 middleware experts. The knowledge and skill levels of the consultants range from junior developers, medior consultants to senior architects. Where possible, GloMidCo's consultants are certified specialists in the products of one or more of the Software partners.
GloMidCo mainly operates in the financial, logistics, utilities (energy), retail and telecommunications markets.
Consultancy
GloMidCo has certified developers, designers, supporters and architects operating on an international basis. Apart from a profound knowledge of the partner's middleware products, GloMidCo's dedicated consultants are recognized for their expertise in the financial, utilities, retail and telecom markets, They also have a broad knowledge and experience with IT products and concepts, such as network protocols, relational databases, operating systems, programming languages, Data Warehousing, etcetera.
Managed Service
GloMidCo provides Managed Services for clients which involves maintenance and monitoring of EAI environments based on remote access and monitoring 24x7 using a high available infrastructure.
Research and development
GloMidCo has a large in-house IT environment for research and development purposes. Many test configurations can be replicated into this environment. This allows for executing Proof of Concepts (POCs), emulating a production environment, researching and/or certification of combinations of new software and/or hardware.
Education
GloMidCo has established close cooperative partnerships with universities and institutes for higher education. GloMidCo offers middleware education courses focusing on Message Oriented Middleware. Students are given opportunities for research by means of internships or graduation work.
