Workshop Registration & Location

To register for a post-conference workshop, visit the Registration Forms page. To view a calendar of SOA Certified Professional workshops in other locations, visit: www.soaworkshop.com
Please note the following regarding post-conference workshop registration:
If you are registering a group of workshop attendees from the same organization you may be eligible for additional discounts. In this case, contact SOASchool.com™ directly at: info@soaschool.com
The workshop registration forms provide you with the option of ordering discounted Prometric exam vouchers in advance. Taking exams is not required to take these workshops.
You are not required to register for all five workshop days. The registration forms allow you to select specific course days.
Full-color course materials, text books, and official Certificates of Completion are included in the workshop registration fees.
Seating in the post-conference workshops is limited.
Location of Workshops
The workshops are being held at the World Trade Center, Rotterdam (Beursplein 37, 3011 AA Rotterdam, Netherlands, Tel: +31 10 4054462). For a map to the World Trade Center, visit the Venue Location page. Inside the World Trade Center the rooms allocated to the workshops are named: Blue room, J.F. Staal room, van der Veeken room, and van Walsum room. They are located near the original location of the symposium conference. See the map below:

Workshops & Self-Study Kits

Instructor-led courses are the best way to prepare for the exams required to achieve certification. However, if you are unable to attend the post-conference workshops or if you can only attend some of the workshop days, you can purchase SOACP Self-Study Kits. Each kit includes the full-color course materials, plus a Prometric exam voucher, a separate self-study guide, flash cards, audio tutor CD(s), and additional study aids designed for remote, self-paced study.
You can also consider purchasing self-study kits to supplement the instructor-led workshop so that you can study the course materials on your own before or after the workshop takes place. If you would like the self-study kits shipped to you in advance, you will be charged a separate shipping cost.
By registering for a workshop courses you are entitled to a 50% discount on any corresponding SOACP Self-Study Kits. Similarly, you can purchase self-study kits first and then decide to register for a workshop, in which case you will receive a $200 discount on each course module for which you purchased a kit. Following this approach, you have the opportunity to first assess the course materials before committing to the workshop registration. (Note that because self-study kits already include Prometric exam vouchers, you should not purchase the discounted exam vouchers separately when registering for a workshop.)
For more information regarding SOACP Self-Study Kits, visit: www.soaselfstudy.com

The Top Gun Contest

Post-conference workshop participants are also enrolled in the Top Gun contest. The participant who attains the highest average score for a given certification is given the title of "Top Gun" and will win the following prizes:
A $1,000 USD gift certificate that can be applied to additional SOA Certified Professional courses and SOACP Self-Study Kits.
The winner's name and affiliated company published on the SOA Magazine homepage for one month.
The winner's name and company name broadcast to all conference attendees and over 15,000 SOA professionals and organizations world-wide as part of a special international announcement.
Last year's Top Gun contest winners were Jean-Paul de Baets and Florent Georges who tied for the highest score among all post-conference workshop participants.
